ALIEN
Airborne Laser Irradiance & Emission Node (ALIEN)
ALIEN is one of the newest SemQuest target boards. It has a large target surface and different available configurations of sensors.
The ALIEN target was originally designed for integration aboard a large UAS to serve as a representative airborne target, but it can also be used on the ground.
The target board pod payload also has a Silvus SC-4240 radio integrated to allow for the transmission of data to a Silvus SC-4480 radio used as a ground radio to pass testing data to the test team in near real-time. The ALIEN also supports GPS information for target positioning.
